A continuous interest for Swedish textiles woven and embroidered by women in the farming communities in southernmost Sweden, during the 18th and 19th centuries, have been reflected in a multitude of ways during the last 40 years – from a local as well as international viewpoint.

Visible via an increasing number of private collectors, publishing of books on the subject, well-visited exhibitions and auctions of art woven textiles.

This gallery of pictures, aims to present three events connected to Viveka Hansen’s work with these beautiful cushions, bed- and bench covers. That is exhibitions in Malmö and Paris, together with the book launch in London.
