Altitude: 5.5 m | The Field Station is named after the first scientist (naturalist) who visited this place in 1758, Anton Rolandsson Martin, one of the so called Linnaeus apostles’.

    The autonomous camera system has taken one hourly picture around the clock, from May 9th to July 12th in 2019, the last day when this Field Station camera registered two visiting polar bears, facing the camera in different directions. After this date, the camera continued to shoot until August 29th in 2019. All these pictures are published in a special gallery called “Pictures | Havoc direction ”.
